Review edition and applicability for each project
📄
Work with references and authorised sources
Record the standard number, edition, source location and expert assessment in your project. Read the standard through its authorised publisher. Reference mode: works without importing the full text. AI analysis: uses supplied sources with appropriate processing rights. Approval: remains with the responsible reviewer. A purchased PDF or enabled feature does not grant permission for storage, AI use and publication; HEEP does not supply standards licences.
VdS CEA 4001
Select the edition for each project

A reference for documentation of fire protection systems. Select the edition applicable to your order and record the expert assessment of its relevance.

  • Record the system, drive type and actual installed components
  • Link manufacturer documents to the matching components
  • Document technical values with their source and location
  • Review commissioning and maintenance information against its sources
  • Mark missing information and conflicting sources for clarification
  • Explicitly select the appropriate project profile

The VdS specialist supports review with questions and supplied product documents. Standards excerpts are included only with appropriate content and provider permissions. Findings and suggested wording require expert review.

DIN EN 12845
Select the edition for each project

A reference for sprinkler systems. Its relevance to the actual system and the applicable edition are established by the responsible expert for each project.

DIN EN 12845 is recorded as a separate reference. This does not automatically make it equivalent to VdS CEA 4001 or NFPA 20.

  • Record the standard number, edition and relevant source locations in the CE file
  • Explain its applicability to the actual system
  • Identify manufacturer information and standards sources separately
  • Link inspection and maintenance documents to the order
  • Document deviations and outstanding evidence
  • Bind expert decisions to the reviewed source version

The DIN specialist can consider authorised excerpts from DIN 14462 and DIN EN 12845. Naming a standard alone enables neither full-text access nor a complete standards compliance check.

DIN 14462
Select the edition for each project

A reference for firefighting water systems with wall hydrants. Record the system type, configuration and edition selected by the responsible expert together.

  • Confirm the system type and components in the order
  • Use operating values from the matching manufacturer source
  • Document requirements with their exact source location
  • Link inspection documents and maintenance evidence
  • Address missing sources and conflicting information visibly
  • Keep expert review and publication as separate steps

The DIN specialist provides source-based observations and open review questions. Specific limits and intervals require an appropriate source; the responsible person assesses their applicability.

NFPA 20
Select the edition for each project

A reference for stationary fire pumps. Additional standards such as NFPA 25 are documented with their own edition and applicability in the project.

  • Record project-specific NFPA references and editions
  • Link pump, drive and controller to their documents
  • Support operating and test values with appropriate sources
  • Attach available test records as evidence
  • Collect open questions and source conflicts for expert review
  • Provide the approved manual with its document version

The NFPA specialist works with supplied documents and permitted source excerpts. The responsible user assesses review findings and suggested additions; a model response does not confirm standards compliance.

Select the edition for each project

A reference for designing operating manuals for machinery. Structure, content and language are adapted to the product and its intended use.

  • Edit the manual for its product profile and actual configuration
  • Prepare safety information and instructions with expert judgement
  • Link technical information to appropriate sources and reviewed values
  • Resolve missing information before approval
  • Record the named reviewer and the reviewed manual version
  • Use AI observations to support expert review

Assess the project legal framework

The CE project file connects product information with the expert assessment of the legal framework, risks, measures and evidence. The applicable procedure is established for the specific order.

  • Document the legal framework and procedure with reasons
  • Connect the standards matrix, risks and protective measures
  • Build inspection records and the technical file around sources
  • Link declaration information to its review status and evidence
  • Provide the expert-approved manual through a system link and QR code
  • Trace PDF versions, approval details and available timestamp evidence
